Who We Are

The Hawaiʻi Tax Fairness coalition is made up of organizations and individuals that are dedicated to making Hawaiʻi a better place to live.

Hawaiʻi is facing many issues that threaten the well-being of our communities. For instance, the high cost of living means that many families can’t afford to make ends meet—fueling our affordable housing crisis and houselessness.

To solve these problems, the state needs tax revenue to invest in our schools, hospitals, housing, and programs for working families.

Hawaiʻi should collect these taxes from the wealthy, who already enjoy generous tax breaks at the state and federal levels.
